Robert “Rusty” McWhorter DDS

Dr. McWhorter was born and raised as the 6th of 8 children in Texas. In 1985, he graduated from Atlanta High School in Atlanta Texas. He fulfilled a full-time mission, serving 2 years in Osaka, Japan, for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After graduating from BYU, he attended dental school at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, graduating in 1998. He then completed a two-year Pediatric Dental Residency at UMKC/Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, graduating in June of 2000.

Dr. McWhorter opened Dentistry For Kids in Pocatello in July 2000, where he enjoys working with children by creating a unique experience for them while meeting their dental needs. He is a proud dad and grandfather to four children and two grandkids, He loves living in southern Idaho. Dr. McWhorter enjoys sports, traveling, and most of all, loves spending time with his family.

Dr. Justin Belk

Dr. Justin Belk grew up in Pingree Idaho where he graduated from Snake River HS. From there he graduated from BYUI in Rexburg where he met his lovely wife Kallee Nickerson. Kallee grew up on a farm in Howe Idaho. Dr. Belk graduated from Creighton School of Dentistry in Omaha Nebraska on scholarship from the Idaho Dental Education Program.

So far, Kallee and Justin have one adorable boy Hudson (another on the way) and one Golden Doodle Benney.

Both Kallee and Justin are thrilled to be back in their loved state of Idaho, and excited to call Rexburg home.

Dr. Belk has always had a passion for working with children. He is excited to join the team at Tooth Time.
